Our school is a small neighborhood school. Many of our students come from low socioeconomic status homes. At our school 100% of our students receive free or reduced price lunch. Our students come from many home situations that don't allow access to certain materials and technologies. Some may live with grandparents, who are not up to date with the technology world. My kindergarteners are very inquisitive, love to learn new things, and strive daily for success. My students LOVE to use the computer to explore new and exciting ways and things to learn. But because of the lack of technology in our classroom, some students are not able to get to the computer as often as they like. I would like to incorporate the use of technology in my classroom as much as possible.
