"I can't think of anything.", is a common phrase you may hear in an art classroom of middle school students when they are asked to brainstorm an idea for an upcoming art project. Pulling out an idea from their memory or immediate surroundings is a continual challenge.
My classroom needs a projector to project images for my students to inspire and jump-start their creativity. Whether it's the Mona Lisa or a picture of a contemporary sidewalk chalk artist's work, my students are fascinated by looking at art work. With the use of this projector, I can use art images to expose my students to art work from around the world to gather ideas and show the possibilities of what can be done in art.
