My classes consist of 140 middle school 8th graders. This is an inner city school in a city with a population of around 40,000. There are economic challenges faced by any inner city school district but my students and I are focused on rising above those challenges. These students are hungry for knowledge but many times have to feel that hunger before they realize it.
