Welcome! We are Ron Russell Middle School counselors. We work with an extremely diverse and needy population of students. Eighty six percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch, which means that it is very difficult for them to find the money needed for backpacks and school supplies. Many of the families struggle to make ends meet. We have students that are homeless, in foster care, new to the country and others who have parents working multiple jobs to make ends meet. As school counselors we know how vital education can be. It is our priority to set our students up for success and provide them with school supplies so they can feel confident at the beginning of the school year.
