Preschool students at my school typically display moderate to severe speech/language delays so that they attend a preschool classroom environment. Our elementary age students often also have speech/language delays as well as specific learning disabilities and often emotional, physical and behavioral delays. Parents want and need to be more involved but often given the situation, cannot attend school and/or observe our practice. Parents need to see their children being successful and how the teachers implement techniques to allow this to happen.
