My students are unique. As members of a non-profit, public charter school community, they come from all walks of life and are expected to actively participate in a rigorous, college-preparatory learning environment. They study core academic areas for part of their day, and they study the performing arts for the other part of their day.
In ALL areas, they are expected to use their creativity and leadership to collaborate with other students, derive meaning from what they read and discuss, and to apply these understandings both inside and outside of the classroom. They perform at consistently high levels, and they leave the school inspired to use their skills to affect change in the world around them.
