We are "Full Inclusion," where all of our students with disabilities are included, not excluded from the general education classrooms. We have 6 students with special needs in our multi-age of 33 eager learners of 4th/5th graders. We are a unique group of kids whose favorite part of our day is using technology and reading. Our school is 100% free lunch program. Our students live in our lowest income area, a public housing projects across the street. Also, our school is among the lowest performing and attendance in CA. In addition, we come from a neighborhood of drugs, domestic violence, shootings and robberies. With everything we faced in our daily lives, we still love coming to school. Technology motivates us to come to school. My students are nothing short of amazing! They come to class thirsty for knowledge. They are truly my inspiration!
