I teach third grade students in a Title One charter school. The majority of these students come from low income families who do not have access to new books. The set of Cinderella stories will help these students see a familiar story through the eyes of another culture. In addition to the literature aspect of this unit, it serves as a gateway to learning about other cultures and parts of our world.
