This project is for drum sticks. I am working currently on collecting old yoga mats in order to make my own drum pads. With these two tools, beginning band students will be able to, regardless of future instrument plans, work on rhythms and timing before in-class instruction can begin. Each week students will be given instruction and assignments to further their musical abilities. The goal is that with rhythms, along with theory instruction, as soon as instruments are able to be passed out and safely used students will have advanced knowledge.
