We are one of 6 kindergarten classes in a Title 1 school where preparing to be the best students they can be is our goal. Ultimately, we want to get ready for 1st grade by reading on grade level and knowing how to use our strategies to put together and take apart words. Literacy center time is a favorite time in our classroom because students are challenged on their current level while having a ton of fun!
