I am privileged to teach a wide variety of high school students - from freshman in Algebra to juniors and seniors in IB Math Studies. The student body is quite diverse in race, religion and class - many coming from a variety of backgrounds. Most of my older students have the potential to gain access to what they need to be successful. However, many of my younger students are unable to even afford some of the basic necessities for high school math, such as a graphing calculator. Fortunately, our school does possess a few class sets to allow all students access to one when needed.
