My students come from diverse backgrounds with over 60 languages spoken throughout our small school district. Many students in my classroom come from high-poverty with approximately 85% of students in the school receiving free or reduced lunch services. As a kindergarten teacher I have many students in my class who have not attended preschool or other school-readiness programs. This means that my kindergarten classroom will be one of their first experiences with school. It is my goal to provide every one of my students with quality instruction that will help to close the achievement gap.

About my class
