I have nine students in my 9th-11th grade Special Day Classroom (SDC) who are mostly intellectually disabled. Some also have other health impairments. One of my students is also deaf-blind. These students are between the ages of 14 and 17. Most of these students have a positive attitude towards school and learning. With the right resources and effective instruction, they will be able to fully maximize their potentials.
