I work in a Title 1 school where the students are from various economic backgrounds. Last year I gave students books and activities to take home to ensure they were reading at home. They didn't have books, computers, educational games or educational resources at home to assist in their learning experience and some parents could not afford it. These children are precious and have a desire to learn.
