I have 27 students in my third grade class-18 boys and 9 girls! This is a very high energy group that I need to use my whole repertoire of teaching strategies with. I have 3 students who are English Language Learners, 3 students who qualify for special education. Two students have special modification/accommodation plans and 4 students are diagnosed with learning disabilities. In addition, I have 1 student designated as Gifted and Talented. Our school is in a low/middle income area of a small town in California. It is a Kindergarten to 6th grade school with around 550 students.
