We have a new reading curriculum which requires multiple read alouds during each lesson. These books will allow my students to have at least one of the hard copies at their desk pod to reference while completing their activities. They love reading the books that have been read to them and this will allow them to do so. This is my first year teaching first grade so I am beginning to collect all I need to teach my students. I love seeing my students excited to read the books I read as a whole class. They love looking at the pictures close up and reading with buddies.
