I count myself as lucky; I am lucky I get to work with amazing students who care about their education. Students here are attending a Title I school. We have over 20 languages spoken in our school, and most students come from one of 30 different countries. They have little money available to them and with that fewer life experiences. They desperately want to learn and do projects that answer the question why, but have little guidance outside of school and little resources to fund their dreams. Although they have little resources they have big hearts and even brighter futures. School starts at 8:45 and ends at 3:15. Many of my students arrive at 8:00 and leave my class around 4:00. They are always asking to learn more and for help to get farther ahead.
