Our population has been changing over the past several years with many students coming from outside our district, diversifying our population significantly. We are currently classified as having moderate poverty in our student population, which does not entitle us to any extra funding. This is an unfortunate situation in a school where the need for extra funding is great.
My students are enthusiastic learners, and they have the added benefit of coming from homes with supportive families who are involved in their education. The potential for great success among my students is there, they just need the appropriate, twenty first century tools to aide them along the way.
