Where are you? Did I lose you? Whoops! My students are shown very small on my screen. All of my students are in Zoom, but each student’s faces are in a small individual square while I share my screen.
When students show me what they are writing in my virtual class, I need to enlarge each student one by one so that I can identify their progress in writing. This process takes time away from learning. My students often wait patiently while I go through.
If I had a second monitor, this process should not take that long. I can use one monitor to open up files and sharing screen, while I observe my students’ academic progress in the other monitor swiftly. My student will benefit from two monitors which increase productivity of my pace of teaching on the screen. They do not have to wait, I can teacher brisk pace, which results in students’ successful remote learning.
