These materials will allow me to demonstrate math concepts using manipulatives such as algebra tiles while in distance learning. We are currently using Zoom and the monitor, document camera and math manipulatives will help me teach through modeling even though we are not in face-to-face instruction. Once we can return to school, my students will be able to engage in hands on learning in a classroom that supports their sensory needs. They will be able to enjoy flexible seating and sensory integration materials that will improve their coping skills, learning behaviors and emotional self-regulation.
