We currently have 20 kindergarten students in our class. This year, I have 13 boys and 7 girls. Our district has about 50% of our students on the free/reduced lunch program. Over the summer, our walls in the hallways and classrooms were brightened up with new paint. I would like to continue brightening up my classroom with an awesome new carpet.
I can already tell that my students are eager to learn the rules and expectations of kindergarten and, of course, how to read and write!
