The earbuds that are being requested will be used to help students on their reading and math skills using a computer-based program. I am requesting a variety of reading materials for my students. The non-fiction books will allow students to practice their skills using main idea and supporting details. Other books that are being requested are fiction stories that will allow students to practice a variety of comprehension skills. These different genre of books will allow students to practice their reading at their independent levels. I want to allow my students to practice the skills that they are being taught. The requested books will allow them to practice independently with books that are of their level and interest. The students will be able to select the books for independent reading and to take home to practice their reading.
