My students are THE best! We are a high needs school with families that have diverse needs at home.
My students don't have a lot, but that doesn't mean they aren't inquisitive, curious and soak up high engagement activities like a sponge! Most of my students don't have access to technology, books and resources at home. It's up to me to make sure I have a very literature rich classroom to get them excited so they'll want to pick up a text! The other REALLY important thing with my students is to get them to WANT to do their best, be engaged fully and set goals for themselves. I want to bring literacy and connections to math and science to a really rich learning experience for ALL my students!
