My students come from diverse backgrounds. My goal as a kindergarten teacher is to foster the love of reading. Kindergarten students come to me in the beginning of the year with a wide range of reading levels from beginner readers who can only "read the pictures" to advanced readers who are able to read chapter books. But all of them share an enthusiasm for books and love being read to.
