Students look at reading as a chore. That is the last thing I want them to do. Reading needs to be fun, exciting, and engaging. When I introduced my students to graphic novels their eyes lit up! Every child NEEDED to read it. The only problem was that I only have 3 graphic novels for 25 students. Help my struggling readers find their passion and love for reading by opening the gate with graphic novels. Research shows that students who read books they are interested in read for longer periods of time and progress faster. The faces of each and every student will light up once they get these book! How exciting?!
