I have twenty six eager, little second graders, many of whom are just learning how to become fluent independent readers. They are so excited to go home and read books with their parents, then come back to school the next day and take a comprehension quiz. The more quizzes they take, the more rewards they earn, but not having enough computers in the classroom is slowing down the process. Our school is fortunate to have a computer lab that houses fifty computers, but we only get to use the computer lab twice a week for a minimal amount of time.
