I am requesting science learning stations for my classroom. My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in science. Fortunately, students have easier access to the technology that can advance their learning, but hand-on experiences are still necessary. As students transition back to the classrooms, I hope to provide spaces for them to interact with their peers in collaborative ways that encourage growth and problem-solving. These kits will be used in small-group stations where students can build models, complete worksheets collaboratively, and practice the science skills that we are working on in class with a novel concept. The goal is for students to interact with the content is a situation that extends beyond the text.
My students learn best through experience, so having small group stations of interactive projects will greatly benefit their growth as scientist.
