My school is a P.I. (Program Improvement), Title 1 school in a very low income community. Our funds are limited, and our families are unable to contribute to our school community. Our students come to school without the necessary materials, so we must provide them ourselves. Most are far below grade level and many are English language learners. No matter the challenges, our students are hard working and enthusiastic. We are lacking some of the resources that could give our students a richer educational experience and help prepare them for a 21st century workforce.
