I have 14 eager hard-working middle school students who have enrolled in my Communications in Media class. We are working to plan, film, and edit video as we produce a daily news show for our middle school. This show will have daily news, features on student achievements, and public service announcements concerning topics of interest to them. Our student body is very diverse with almost 50% having a Hispanic background. Video will enhance their learning and use of the English language. Students working together, regardless, of ethnicity, and having success is so important in our community.

About my class
