My students are interesting, amazing individuals. They are from diverse neighborhoods in an urban American city. They are who they are, but lack confidence in their potential. Some are amazing students, with punctual well thought out assignments and completed class work, others are deep classroom thinkers, but lack the ability to do work outside of class. They all have challenges, because we, as people, have challenges. My hope is that my students begin to connect their own lives to their global identity and expand their horizons of thinking, responsibility, potential, and growth.

About my class
