PJMS is a Title I school and while other schools require students to pay a fee to participate in Science Olympiad, mine does not. My classroom is filled with hard-working, energetic students, who do not have extra money to spend on school projects. These students have great potential to earn a job in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and the Science Olympiad competition exposes them to a variety of career choices in these fields.
