Critical thinkers. Creative minds. Cooperative attitudes. My students may only be six or seven years old, but their enthusiasm for learning far exceeds their age.
All of my students have many questions about the world around them. Each day, during recess, students bring me all sorts of artifacts along with questions galore. Their minds are constantly at work, yearning to learn more.
These students seek outlets of creativity to express their ideas. Dancing, drawing, coloring, and acting are a few of the outlets these students seek to express their ideas garnered and lessons learned. Thus, I create lessons based off of their interests.
They love learning in an engaging and cooperative manner. They ultimately learn best by building upon the ideas of their friends.
These students attend a community school from Kindergarten through 8th grade, building on their skills with each year. I hope to provide them with a foundation to grow beyond their education.
