This New York school has students coming from both urban and rural areas to attend. These students are excited to play an instrument and learn skills such as how to creatively express themselves, read music, and work as a team to perform pop and classical music. Students in the orchestra give two concerts each year as well as some additional performances in the community. Unfortunately, the school currently does not have enough instruments for every child who wants to participate to be able to play an instrument.
