My students are wonderful and amazing, hard working children. They make me proud each and everyday they are in my classroom. I teach a total of 50 students (25 in the morning class and 25 in the afternoon class). Our school is a Title I school which means that more than 70% of our students are on free and reduce lunch. It amazes me how hard my students work especially from the backgrounds they come from. I have some students with no contact information for their parents and cannot reach them to update them about their child. Everyday I come to school wondering how I can make a student's day better and how I can help prepare them for the future. After 15 years of teaching I can still honestly say that I love it and can't wait to see what the next 15 years brings.
