I am the Wellness teacher for three hundred inner city, public school children in grades K-6. We are a Spanish Immersion school. Students receive their math, science and social studies instruction by a Spanish speaking teacher and language arts by a english speaking teacher. Students learn their math and science as they do in traditional schools, however they are also learning the Spanish language at the same time. I have taught Wellness for Indianapolis Public Schools for 15 years. We have a unique program that teaches students not only to be bilingual, but to have the skills to live a healthy lifestyle.
About my class
