With flexible seating options, students seem to be more engaged in their learning. The light weight seating options that I have chosen would allow students to move them to a convenient location in the classroom and complete their work in a comfortable setting. The privacy boards would help my students stay focused on independent work and reading by reducing distractions that may be around them. Finally, I have used Scholastic News in my classroom before and the students get so excited when we have a new issue to explore! They learn new vocabulary and are able to make real life connections with the world around them!

About my class
