My classroom has five desktop computers for students to share, and our school has a set of 20 tablets to share with 500+ students. Many times a student does not finish a project and needs to save it. Our district provides minimal storage for each student in an H: drive and many of our projects do not fit. My students need a device to store their hard work without worrying that it will disappear or be erased. Our equipment is not always reliable and even if a student is able to save their work on their H: drive, something could go wrong with the servers and their hard work would disappear. Having individual flash drives would help me expand the types of projects I do in my classroom as well as teach my students organization and prepare them for college and careers!
