I am extremely excited to take on a new role this year as my school's technology integration specialist. This position is really the best of both worlds for me as a teacher. While I no longer have my own homeroom class, I work with students of all grade levels each day. I also get to work closely with the other teachers in my building, as I share ideas for effective technology integration, help them design lessons and activities that will engage their students, and work with my administrators to bring a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) approach into the classrooms. Since I am still a teacher, but no longer have a specific class or grade level, I am working from a computer lab and "pushing in" to classrooms when needed. I am thrilled to have this new position, but I am in need of some exciting, engaging, and approachable tech tools to "wow" our students and teachers.

About my class
