English Language Learners come from all over the world and sometimes do not have English speaking families at home to give them the extra support and practice they need to be successful in school. They come with little to no English vocabulary and have a difficult time attaining knowledge of how letters have names, sounds and pertain to words or vocabulary. They are hard workers and need activities that use all parts of the brain to attain beginning reading knowledge.
