My students are amazing. They are a great group of students who just happen to be from families fallen on hard times. They attend a school where nothing is exceptional. They read things out of old text books. I want to bring those text books to life. They are between the ages of 11-15 who are grown up around rap music and drug dealing. They are interested in farming, animals, and I want to be the teacher that exposes them to this. Show them how to grow a carrot and then feed it to their animals. Give them something to come to school for.
