My school is located in a high transient and low income community. We are a high need based middle school. My students are overly curious and seek the answers to life questions almost daily. My students are of Hispanic and African American descent and come from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. My school educates approximately 900 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students. We have a wide range of students with so many talents to offer. Honors students, students with special needs, first generation American born students, etc. Whenever I'm asked if I have children, I respond, "Sure, 108 of them."
