The students in my class consist of regular education students and special education students - a full inclusion model. Nearly 50% of the students receive special education services. The class is a co-taught classroom consisting of a regular educator and special educator that share the role of the classroom teacher. I work hard to include all of the students and help everyone access the curriculum. I like to consider our classroom to be a student centered learning environment where I merely facilitate the learning that takes place through the students' inquiry and discovery. The students truly amaze me everyday! They learn so much from each other and their experiences in the class, and even teach me new things! Our school is a Pre K - Grade 4 school.
