My students are an amazing, diverse and energetic group of children whom are eager to be lifelong learners. They all live in the inner city and are mostly English language learners. Our Title I school is comprised of students from pre-school to sixth grade and 100% of the school qualifies for our free lunch program. Despite any hardships they may have, we focus on enabling all students to make positive life choices, and learn the academic and social skills necessary to strengthen our community, and successfully participate in a diverse and global society. The majority of the students who attend our school will be the first in their families to attend college.
