Despite the fact that most of my students come from low income homes and disadvantaged situations, they are resilient, persevering, and eager to learn. Most of my students have an added challenge of speaking another language, such as Spanish or Hmong, and must work extra hard to learn English in addition to their regular studies. Everyday I am inspired by their enthusiasm, positive attitudes, and dedication toward striving for a better future.
