Our school is located in Florida, where the vast majority of students are Spanish speakers (ESOL). Most of their families have recently come from Central America and have a very low socio-economic background. Also, it has a very large population of students with various learning disabilities (ESE). Both of these groups comprise the majority of students in my school and because of this, they would especially benefit from having visual aids in front of them as they are being taught their daily math lesson. My school is especially challenged because since it was built in 1925, the building is very old and has hardly had any major changes. We currently have no WI-Fi, no Smartboards in the classrooms, and no projectors (except for a couple of teachers who bought one with their own money).
