My 2nd grade students are avid readers who love nothing more than curling up with a good chapter book. Their love of reading and their active imaginations have inspired them to start their own book club that will meet once a week to discuss a book that they are all reading at the same time. Although I eagerly agreed, I immediately thought, "Where are we going to get a class set of a great book that all of my students will enjoy?!"

About my class
