I teach in Hawaii where majority of the students are immigrants from Micronesia or the Polynesian Islands, so most classes have majority ELL students (English Language Learners). Our school is considered a Title 1. I believe that these children deserve the same opportunities that the students receive on the mainland, like access to technology and plethora of classroom resources. My students are very kind, quick to laugh, but lack many technological skills. It is my goal to, along with teaching them Social Studies, to teach them about technology by using it in the classroom.
