My students vary in background and ability. My school is diverse in population but not diverse in technology or access to hands-on learning materials. While teachers do the best with what they have, I want to provide more for my students and meet their varying needs. Students have limited space to move because of the size of their bodies and the size of the classrooms. Flexible seating is the perfect marriage of the two. However, it is expensive to provide sustainable options and still have the ability for collaborative work groups. They also need access to real world scenarios. Students today need more because the world asks more of them.
