My students attend a public school in northeastern CT. One of my students was shot by a parent and lost her entire family; she is in 6th grade w/ a traumatic brain injury & functioning at a 1st grade level. My other students are cognitively challenged and I am trying to teach them functional daily living skills that will help them live more independent and meaningful lives.
