I choose to teach in an urban setting because every day I laugh with, care for and learn from my students. They are an inspiration to me, as I teach them to never give up and follow their dreams. They may come from a variety of backgrounds, incomes and family situations, but each and every one of them can far exceed my expectations given the right resources and someone like me who is there for them day in and day out.
